1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide information to the website owner.

- Persistent cookies: Cookies that remain on your device for a set period of time or until you delete them

In addition to cookies, we may use similar tracking technologies including:
- Local storage: A browser feature that allows websites to store data on your device that persists beyond a browser session
- Session storage: Similar to local storage but cleared when your browser session ends
- Pixel tags and web beacons: Small invisible image files embedded in pages or emails that allow us to track certain actions
- Analytics scripts: Code snippets from analytics providers that run in your browser to collect usage data
For simplicity, we refer to all of these collectively as "cookies" throughout this policy.
3. Categories of Cookies We Use
3.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for the Platform to function. Without them, you could not sign in, finish a purchase, or keep your cookie choices. These cookies cannot be disabled.

3.2 Preferences
These remember settings you choose and what you have already seen, so the Platform works the way you set it up and does not repeat itself. They are part of the service you ask us for, so Cookie settings has no switch for them. We set them ourselves, they are never used for analytics or advertising, and they stay in your browser until you clear its site data.

3.3 Analytics Cookies
These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with our Platform. The data collected is aggregated and used to improve the Platform, not to identify individual users.

3.4 Marketing and Advertising Cookies
These cookies may be used to track visitors across websites and show you relevant advertisements. They are set by our advertising partners.
We use the Meta Pixel, a tool from Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram), on aiwa.codes and app.aiwa.codes. When you allow marketing cookies, it tells Meta which of our pages you visit and when you sign up, start a checkout, or complete a purchase (with its value), so that we can measure our ads and show AIWA ads on Meta's services to people who have visited us. Meta may connect this to your Meta account, including by matching a hashed copy of an email address you type into a form on our pages, and may also use it under its own terms; see Meta's Privacy Policy at facebook.com/privacy/policy. We never send Meta the links in invitations, password resets or project shares, or anything you type into a prompt.

Local Storage and Session Storage
We also keep some information in your browser's local storage, which stays until you clear your browser's site data, and in its session storage, which is cleared when you close the tab. Names that end in a project ID are kept separately for each project.

We update these lists when what we store changes.
5. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies on our Platform are set by third-party services we use. These third parties have their own privacy and cookie policies. Key third parties include:
- Neon Auth: Sign-in. Neon Auth keeps your session in a cookie on its own domain (__Secure-neon-auth.session_token), so you stay signed in to the app. See neon.com/privacy-policy.
- Stripe: Payment processing. When you pay, Stripe's checkout pages set the cookies Stripe needs to process payments securely. See Stripe's privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.
- Cloudflare: Security. Cloudflare protects aiwa.codes and app.aiwa.codes from attacks. If it needs to check that a visitor is a person, it may set a short-lived security cookie, such as cf_clearance. See cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
- Google (Google Analytics): Usage analysis on aiwa.codes and app.aiwa.codes, when analytics cookies are allowed. See policies.google.com/privacy.
- Meta (Meta Pixel): Advertising measurement, and AIWA ads on Meta's services, when marketing cookies are allowed. See facebook.com/privacy/policy.
- Voomly: Video. Voomly plays our videos on aiwa.codes/early, aiwa.codes/whitelabel and aiwa.codes/wl. Its player loads only when analytics cookies are allowed or when you press play, and then stores its settings and a marker it uses to count views in your browser's local storage.
- AI model providers: Processing your prompts to generate applications. These providers do not set cookies on your browser directly but do process data as described in our Privacy Policy.
We do not control third-party cookies and are not responsible for the practices of third-party providers.
6. Your Cookie Choices
6.1 Cookie Preference Centre
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, we ask before setting analytics or marketing cookies. When you first visit, a banner lets you accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or choose by category, and nothing optional runs until you decide. Elsewhere, analytics and marketing cookies are on by default and you can turn them off at any time.
Wherever you are, Cookie settings in the footer of aiwa.codes, and in the account menu of the app, lets you change your choice. Your choice applies to both aiwa.codes and app.aiwa.codes and is remembered for 12 months. Turning analytics or marketing off deletes the cookies and browser storage that category set.
6.2 Browser Settings
You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- View cookies stored on your device
- Delete existing cookies
- Block cookies from specific websites
- Block all third-party cookies
- Set up notifications when cookies are received

Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will affect the functionality of our Platform. You may not be able to log in or use core features if these cookies are disabled.
6.3 Opt-Out of Analytics
You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
6.4 Opt-Out of Advertising Cookies
You can opt out of interest-based advertising from many advertisers through the Digital Advertising Alliance at optout.aboutads.info or the Network Advertising Initiative at optout.networkadvertising.org. You can also control how Meta uses information for ads in your Ads Preferences on Facebook or Instagram.
7. Do Not Track
Some browsers have a "Do Not Track" feature that signals to websites that you do not want your online activity tracked. There is currently no industry standard for how websites should respond to Do Not Track signals. We will update this policy if a standard is established.
We do honour Global Privacy Control (GPC). If your browser sends a GPC signal, marketing cookies start switched off for that browser, which some US state laws treat as an opt-out of selling or sharing personal information for targeted advertising. You can still turn them on in Cookie settings.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or for legal and regulatory reasons. Updates will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
